Thanks to grant support from the Quartet Foundation, the Tabernacle Trust has been able to invite local musicians into the partially restored Tabernacle to have a video produced by a professional team of videographers and sound engineers. The Trust used these sessions to build links with the local music community, and to show an example of one of the things that they hope to provide when the fully restored

The Barrel House Vipers are a collective of musicians who met in Bristol and have toured Europe, America and extensively across the UK specialising in early jazz and blues from the 1920’s to the 1940’s.

The core artists in the Barrelhouse Vipers are Rachel Lawrence (vocals/washboard/accordion), Bill Frampton (double bass/harmonica) and Gus Dolding (tenor banjo/clarinet/guitar).
