Tabernacle Bible Donated

The Kingswood Tabernacle recently received quite a remarkable donation in the form of a 120 year old bible. The leatherbound book dates baclk to 1903 and seem to have been a gift to the Vicar of the Tabernacle at the time, Rev Joseph Wilcox.

The inscription on the front page reads

“Presented, by the members of the Church, to the Rev joseph Wilcox on the 28th Anniversary of his Ministry at Whitefield’s Tabernacle, Kingswood, Bristol, November 1903”
