COME AND VISIT THE TABERNACLE ON 13TH sEPTEMBER

Although we’re disappointed that we don’t yet have contractors on site to carry the final stage of work to turn the Tabernacle into a useful community building; that does mean that the building is currently a safe place to visit.  Therefore, as part of the Heritage Open Days programme, we will be opening the Tabernacle on Friday September 13th from 10.00 am – 4.00 pm.

We plan to have some photographs and plans on display to show how far we’ve come, and how far we’ve still got to go.  We’ll also play some of the video recordings that were made in the Tabernacle last year.  If you’ve been inside the Tabernacle in the last year, there isn’t much new to see.  However, everyone who visits us loves the space and can imagine what it will look like when our project is finished.  Please come and see us, and please encourage your friends and neighbours to come inside and have a look.

Please note that we don’t yet have a proper floor in the Tabernacle and we don’t have level access from Park Road.  A visit would therefore not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
