local bands perform in tabernacle
Thanks to grant support from the Quartet Foundation, the Tabernacle Trust has been able to invite local musicians into the partially restored Tabernacle to have a video produced by a professional team of videographers and sound engineers. The Trust used these sessions to build links with the local music community, and to show an example of one of the things that they hope to provide when the fully restored 1741 Tabernacle is finished. Unfortunately, there were not sufficient slots avilable to fit in every act that wanted to take part, and Trustees hope to be able to raise funds to run another session later in the year.
Bands such as the Barrelhouse Vipers were able to use the videos for their own promotion work.
